design studio

to create the workspace by dry assembling of simple everyday items; palma 2004

Starting from constructive sincerity we reveal the existing materials in place; polish the concrete slab that will serve as pavement and discover the sandstone at the end of the premises. An elongated place with natural light only at both ends -facade and rear patio-. We need to compartmentalize the space for some privacy, but clarity should reach the tables in the middle of the studio. All with a minimum budget and without hiring labor. The solution will be partitions made with translucent polycarbonate and billy shelves, all joined with double-sided adhesive tape. Basic shower curtains and a few hours of DIY have just configured the intervention.
